The Olympiacos defender will complete an individual program and will be included in the training camp upon the team’s return from Spain. The International Center continues its program.
After the training ended, Dimitris Itoudis announced the first players who would not leave the training. They are Alex Antetokounbo, Giorgos Tanulis, Omiros Netzipoglu, Lefteris Mantzoukas and Giorgos Tsalburis.
“Kostas Sloukas and Giorgos Papayannis will not participate in the first two games of the men’s national team against Spain, tomorrow (8.9, 19.00) in OAKA and Thursday (8.11, 20.30) in Madrid.
It was decided for Sloukas not to follow the team on the trip to complete the individual program in Athens, but to integrate into the team after the expedition returned from Spain.
As for Papajannis, he continues the program every day, which he follows from the very beginning of the preparation, and is under the constant supervision of the medical staff.
After the end of today’s (8/8) practice, Dimitris Itoudis thanked the first players who left the practice for their efforts and contributions. These are four “newcomers”: Alex Antetokounmpo, Giorgos Tanulis, Omiros Netzipoglu, Lefteris Mantzoukas, who was absent due to illness, and Giorgos Tsalburis.”
