Zoe Constantinopoulou responded to the reaction within the Freedom of Navigation movement from three MP candidates who publicly declared their opposition to the changes in the voting procedure.

In the same interview on One Channel, she simultaneously launched a fierce attack on SYRIZA – the Progressive Alliance.

In particular, the president of Plevsis Eleftherias initially recalled that she left the third place in the state without any problems. Consequently, he argued, “I cannot share the love for positions that we don’t even have. No one has the right to have such an expectation.”

And then she explained that she took responsibility for the formation of lists with the criterion of having a parliamentary group that “will not exist like her.” On the other hand, “the captain is the coach of the team, he can leave some of them on the bench, alas, if they rebel,” he remarked characteristically. The reactions confirm that some should not have been on the lists, on the other hand, the bitterness is understandable, he admitted. But, he insisted, everyone knew that the lists would not be the same as those of May 21, given the order of voting.

In her interview, Ms. Constantinopooulou also reiterated that Freedom Sailing is not limited to the left. On the contrary, it is addressed to the whole society, he added. After all, this is “the only anti-systemic party, it’s not even a party, it’s a movement.”

Elsewhere, he argued that certain political forces were “retreating”. When asked to name which of them she had in mind, she named SYRIZA – the Progressive Alliance and PASOK. The path of some, he noted, is completely predictable, that’s what happens when you say one thing and do another. In fact, specifically for SYRIZA, he said that this is part of the old political system, and you can find such traits as malice, corruption and confusion in it.

Asked about her relationship with the chairmen of the two largest parties, she replied: “I’m not talking to Mr. Tsipras, we have official relations with Mr. Mitsotakis.” And in conclusion, he promised that “from June 26 we will build the country in a different way.”
