Republican Vice Chairman of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee Jim Reese today signed an agreement to sell the F-35 to Greece.

The signatures were preceded by Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Robert Menendez, House Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Michael McCall and Vice Chairman Gregory Meeks.

As Lena Argyri points out in her post, the fourth signature needed to approve the sale of the F-35 to Greece has already been done, which was also signed by Jim Rees.

A formal notice to Congress by the US government is now awaited.

As K wrote earlier, the issue of selling the F-35 to Greece is moving forward with the delivery of the first aircraft scheduled for the period from 2028 to 2033, despite the fact that the answer (Letter of Acceptance-LOA) from the American side.

First installment for commission F-35 fifth generation fighters expected to be formed in 350 million eurosafter the final removal of the so-called SSI from the final price of American aircraft.

Cost estimates can be relatively accurate based on fixed specifications, such as the total number of 20 F-35As that the Air Force (Air Force) will receive between 2028 and 2033.
