
The meeting between Greek Foreign Minister Vassilis Kaskarelis and Albanian Foreign Minister Olta Tsacka ended recently on the sidelines of an informal summit of foreign ministers of member states NATO took place in Oslo.
According to diplomatic sources, the Greek foreign minister raised with the Albanian foreign minister the release of the elected mayors of Himarra, Freddie Beleris and Pantelis Kokavesis.
At the same time, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece is in constant contact with the Greek Ambassador to Albania, Konstantin Kamitsi, in order to be constantly informed, and at the same time, appropriate instructions are given for the consideration of the case at hand.
It is noted that, on the relevant instructions, the Greek Ambassador also recently met with Messrs. Beleris and Kokavesi, and is in constant contact with their relatives and lawyers.
