The first official reaction of the SYRIZA party to the results of the elections, the announcement after the meeting of the executive office on Monday afternoon, raised a lot of eyebrows.

And in addition to criticism for strategic choices, for people’s choices, for controversial moves towards bilateral expansion, the party leadership also faces great anger from a number of leaders who are not in the next parliament or because of a decrease in the percentage of the party. or because of the better marketing of the people who “got on the train” when the party came to power.

For all these reasons, blaming smaller opposition parties for the election results SYRIZA pursues a self-defense strategy to get to the elections without plunging into destructive and paralyzing introversion. Ideally, Kumunduru hopes that, perhaps, repeated elections will give a softer result. Even a small improvement in the SYRIZA percentage or a slight decrease in the NI percentage. perhaps allow the inevitable internal party debate to take place on different terms.
