Kasidiaris party: ND filed a memorandum with the Supreme Court

OUR New Democracy previously filed a memorandum in section A1 of the Supreme Court against the application of the “National Party – Hellenes” for the upcoming elections, as stated by Minister of State and government spokesman Akis Skertsos.

The memorandum is accompanied by 300 pages of documentary material and two high-capacity electronic discs with audio-visual materials proving the actions of Ilias Kasidiaris as the real leader of the party.

“The government of New Democracy took the initiative with a sense of responsibility to introduce provisions in parliament to prevent the penetration of criminal organizations into parliament under the guise of a political party,” a government spokesman said.

“It is the duty of every democratic political formation and every citizen to defend democracy from its enemies. In this ongoing struggle, we will remain at the forefront,” he added.

Herapetrite: So far only according to Casidiaris.

Yesterday, Minister of State Giorgos Gerapetritis said that “probably the ND, which was also the political force that initiated the adoption of the relevant provisions by the Parliament”, will present a memorandum outlining the reasons why, in Piraeus’s opinion, the party of Ilias Kasidiaris should not have been declared a candidate in the elections .

“ND was too vertical at this level. A criminal organization cannot enter parliament. This is not only a democratic demand, but I think it is also the highest tribute to democracy itself, which we should all respect. For this reason, ”he emphasized, referring to the main news release of Zvezda.

Asked if the ND would also file a memorandum for other parties such as Nikos Nikolopoulos, Mr. Gerapetritis replied: “So far, yes, only for Mr. Kasidiaris (…) it is clear that there is a connection with the conviction of his leader for a criminal organization “.
