Israel has signed an agreement worth 1.44 billion shekels (400 million euros) to sell Israel-made SPIKE-NLOS multipurpose long-range missile systems to Greece, the Israeli Defense Ministry said on Monday.
An intergovernmental agreement was signed between the Israeli Ministry of Defense and the Greek Ministry of National Defense on the export of products for the purchase of Rafael Spike missiles. “This project complements the series of agreements between the State of Israel and the Hellenic Republic and once again highlights the strong partnership between our countries and our defense installations, as well as our mutual commitment to regional stability,” Israeli Defense Minister Yoav said. The government’s National Security Council (GNSC) decided earlier this year to unblock the delivery of SPIKE-NLOS, which are planned to be installed on Army Air Force Apache helicopters, on P.N. and possibly spetsnaz boats.
