With the participation of 20 companies in the national pavilion, organized and supported by the Hellenic Company for Investments and Foreign Trade (Enterprise Greece), the international building materials exhibition “THE BIG 5 SAUDI”, which was held in Riyadh from February 18 to 21, was carried out. At the same time, in addition to the national stand, 7 Greek companies participated in separate stands through their representatives in the region.

As noted in the relevant announcement, this is the most important exhibition in the construction sector in Saudi Arabia and in the region as a whole. It was held at the new Riyadh Front Exhibition and Convention Center (RFECC), which housed 850 companies from 40 countries.

As highlighted in the related statement, the major projects announced by the Saudi government until 2030 and the very good relationship with Greece are helping to increase the participation of Greek companies in the building materials and services sector.

Greek Ambassador to Riyadh Alexis Constantinopoulos stressed in his statements that: “Saudi Arabia is a booming economy, a promising market and the physical presence of interested Greek companies is important. The excellent level of our bilateral relations, the good reputation of Greece and its businesses, as well as the high level of know-how they offer, make us particularly optimistic about the future of our trade relations.”

Authorized Advisor and Executive Member of the Board of Directors. Enterprise Greece’s Betty Alexandropoulou, for her part, commented that: “Greece’s relations with Saudi Arabia are at their best in years. Greek construction companies produce innovative products and services and can take their share of this promising growth market, where numerous infrastructure projects are being built.”
