“We will continue to be on the side of the citizens to feel, listen, strive for the spring elections to bring with them a new spring, with a strong second mandate in advance, for a self-sufficient Greece and a self-sufficient New Democracy,” said Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis during his speech in Parliament in the context of the discussion of the draft law on the Ministry of Finance.

The Prime Minister spoke about the double meaning of the Treasury bill, stressing that the regulation of the downtrodden benefits thousands of households and businesses that have been held hostage for decades. “It transparently and fairly resolves the Gordian connection between the state and citizens,” he added.

Only from the last census, he said, it turned out that more than 90% of public and exchange properties were subjected to encroachment. “The government imposed fines that were never collected and engaged in lawsuits that were never resolved. Since 1930, laws after laws have proposed various properties so that these properties are somehow distributed, and the result was almost zero, ”he added.

Today, Mr. Mitsotakis stressed, the beneficiaries will be able to purchase premises legally. “This is finally reflected in dozens of rural, industrial and tourist areas of the country. There are additional social criteria in the equation,” he continued.

The prime minister specified that clear counterbalances are provided so that the agreement does not develop into a massive and uncritical legalization of the oppressed. “A number of contradictions are being resolved for which the state itself is responsible,” he pointed out and added: “Today the contradictory and unjust situation with the oppressed ends.”
