The process involved 642 highly formally qualified candidates, of whom 200 qualified for the final stage. “The contestants were asked to answer an extremely difficult multiple-choice test, developed according to a special methodology. In particular, during the two-hour exam, candidates answered one hundred questions requiring critical and analytical thinking, as well as specialized knowledge, which are divided into 25 general questions and 25 specialty questions (lawyer, digital policy analyst and public policy analyst), with a weighted coefficient of a specialist depending on the specialty,” says Ms. Dramalioti. Upon completion of the program, certified successful candidates will be placed in the core of governance, i.e. the Government Presidium, the General Secretariat for Coordination and the General Secretariat for Legal and Parliamentary Affairs, as well as in 17 ministries.

The innovative process, which is being carried out for the first time and is intended to be a case study with the ultimate goal of its wider application, the assessment of the needs of the state, is part of the staffing law (4622/19).
