
Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will travel to Kazakhstan tomorrow, Sunday, where he will hold a series of meetings with senior officials.
In particular, on Monday, December 5, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will be received by the President of Kazakhstan, Kashim-Jomart Tokayev.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs will then meet with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi.
It is expected that upon completion of the talks, the foreign ministers of the two countries will sign a memorandum of cooperation between the diplomatic academies.
The visit will end with the meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece with the manager of the Astana International Financial Center Kairat Kelimbetov.
During the above meetings, discussions will focus on further strengthening bilateral relations in all areas, as well as issues of global and regional interest.
The visit to Kazakhstan complements the series of meetings of the Minister of Foreign Affairs with colleagues from the states of Central Asia and the Caucasus, which took place in Poland within the framework of the OSCE Ministerial Summit.
Recall that on the sidelines of the OSCE ministerial summit, Mr. Dendias held bilateral meetings with the foreign ministers of Uzbekistan, Armenia, Tajikistan and Azerbaijan.
