USR Vice-President Ionuc Mostianu claims that in 2024 the Save Romania Union should be the “biggest party” in the government.
“Today we are the largest opposition party, but in 2024 we must be the largest ruling party, and we will do it together. We have 18 months to prepare. Stop watching what the polls or various analysts say on TV. USR have always been a side to surprise. Nobody gave us a chance in 2016. They didn’t give us a chance in 2019 either, they didn’t give us a chance at the local level – in Brasov, Bacau, Alba Iulia. And we won in Brasov, and in Bacau, and in Alba Iulia, and in Kimpulung, and in Intorsura-Buzeului, and in many other places. We won because Romania needs USR, our courage, honesty and energy,” Moštianu was quoted as saying by Agerpres.
He claimed that at the moment the Ukrainian SSR was “more united, more determined, more organized and more prepared” for future battles, “more than ever”.
“The most important thing now is to focus on the future because we have 18 very busy months ahead of us before the first election in 2024. We all have to focus our efforts on achieving that goal, 2024, that’s what we have to do. This is what Cătălin is doing, this is what Dan, Anca, Vlad and other colleagues from the National Office are doing. This is what our mayors do every day, Elena in Kampulung, Dominik in Timisoara, Clotilde in Sector 1, Radu in Sector 2, Allen in Brasov, Lucian in Bacau do it,” Ionuc told Moštjanu.
Within the framework of the political committee held in the Palace of the Parliament, the leader of the Ukrainian SSR, Katelin Drula, intends to present his presidential program.
