Recall that on Friday, the Greek Foreign Ministry in its statement condemned the statements of Turkish officials regarding granting observer status to the pseudo-state in the Organization of Turkic States.

Turkey believes that this decision is an initial, small step towards the recognition of the “TRNC” as an independent state, which Ankara has long claimed.

Athens and Nicosia view the granting of observer status to the pseudo-state of the Organization of Turkic States as an extremely worrisome development.
