It is expected that about 200 trade union members will take part in the rally organized by the TAROM United Trade Union.

The airline’s employees say they want a decent salary, and during negotiations on the Collective Agreement, the company’s management treats them with contempt.

“Since these negotiations are going on, we do not rule out the emergence of a labor conflict at the level of TAROM, according to all the rules provided by the current legislation, because all the steps taken by the Trade Union since the beginning of the year to increase the wage budget by 35% were treated with disdain by the management of TAROM, the Ministry of Transport and even the government Romania, the SCC negotiations are delayed by setting very long deadlines between meetings, the demands of the trade union on wages are treated indifferently”, – say the representatives of the trade union.

In addition, some employees will be dismissed in the following days because they did not receive the appropriate marks in the evaluation conducted by PwC.

Only employees who work on free shifts will take part in this rally, so that the TAROM company does not suffer financially, the trade unions also noted.
