US President Joe Biden, who tested positive for Covid-19 last Thursday, is no longer showing any symptoms of the disease, his personal doctor said in a letter published by the White House on Monday, AFP reported.
“His symptoms have virtually disappeared,” wrote Dr. Kevin O’Connor.
The doctor said the president is still very hoarse and still has a bit of nasal congestion.
At the age of 79, the US president, who has received a full vaccination and two boosters, falls into the category of people at risk of developing a serious case of Covid-19.
However, Joe Biden appears to be experiencing mild symptoms, and the White House has gone out of its way to provide assurances about his health and ability to govern even in isolation.
