Top model Naomi Campbell, 53, announced on Thursday that she has given birth to a baby boy, adding that he is “a real gift from God”, according to Sky News.
The model announced the news on Instagram along with a photo of her cradling her baby.
“My little darling, know that you are valued immeasurably and surrounded by love from the moment you graced us with your presence. A real gift from God, blessed! Welcome,” said the model, according to News.ro.
“It’s never too late to become a mother,” she added.
Famous friends, including designer Donatella Versace, Cindy Crawford and German model Claudia Schiffer, shared congratulations.
Campbell, who was born in London, surprised the world in May 2021 when she announced shortly before her 51st birthday that she had given birth to a baby girl.
She posed with her daughter for the March 2022 cover of British Vogue and confirmed that her daughter was not adopted, saying, “She’s not adopted, she’s my baby.”
Campbell told the magazine: “I can count the number of people who knew I was going to have her, but this is the biggest blessing I could ever imagine. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done.”
Campbell was discovered as a schoolgirl and became the first black British model to appear on the cover of British Vogue.
She is also known for her charity work, and in 2005 she founded Fashion For Relief, a charity that combines fashion and charity, News.ro reports.
