
More than 85 gas stations of the Lukoil chain were inspected by the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) throughout the country in one day, fined 45,000 lei for violations such as depreciated or used pumps, selling expired products and discrepancies between prices Four stations were temporarily closed until the deficiencies were rectified.
The State Consumer Service announced that on Thursday it launched a large-scale control action at the level of the entire country, aimed at how the current legislation in the industry is observed at Lukoil gas stations. network, reports News.ro.
Until now, ANPC commissioners have checked 88 stations, the action is being held at most of them.
The main detected deviations were: lack of price tags on products on the shelf; use of unhygienic refrigerating units, with accumulation of dust, dirt and ice; the use of fuel pumps with grooves (fuel guns) with degraded areas, with a high degree of wear and rust or contamination; sale of unmarked products – without identification elements; use of unhygienic equipment; non-compliance with the product storage temperature recommended by the manufacturer; inconsistency of the price on the shelf and at the cash register.
Other violations established by the commissioners of the ANPK are: sale of products with an expired consumption date; sale of unpackaged food products without specifying the date of opening; sale of ready-made culinary products for which production sheets have not been provided; sale of toys with labeling defects; non-compliance with the regime of shares; sale of non-food products without a warranty card; marketing of some textile products without mentioning the fiber composition in Romanian.
Fines in the amount of more than 45,000 lei were imposed for the detected violations, and four stations were temporarily closed until the deficiencies were corrected.
