According to data published by the National Agency for Cadastre and Real Estate Promotion (ANCPI), 16,331 individual units were sold in BUCHAREST in the last quarter of 2023. The volume of units sold is 431 fewer than in 2022, a decrease of 2.6%.
In Bucharest, 29,010 individual units were sold in the second half of 2023. For comparison, during the same period last year, 30,710 units were sold.
During 2023, 48,597 individual units were sold in BUCHAREST. This figure represents an annual reduction of 15.6%, equivalent to 8,980 individual units. Comparing historical data published by ANCPI since 2017, the most units were sold in 2022 with a total of 57,577 and the least in 2019 with 34,478 individual units.

According to data published by the National Institute of Statistics (INS), 5,778 houses were completed in the Bucharest-Ilfov region in the third quarter of 2023. The volume of rented houses is 406 less than in the same period of 2022.
In the city of Bucharest, 12,249 buildings were commissioned in 2022. For comparison, in 2021, 13,344 housing units were built, which is 8% less.
Comparing the historical data published by the INS since 2015, the most houses were completed in the municipality of Bucharest in 2020, with a total of 13,821, and the least in 2017, with 3,685 houses. During 2022, 21,328 houses were completed in the Bucharest-Ilfov region. This indicator is close to the indicator of 2021.
