In 2023, business from market services provided to companies grew by 13.2% compared to 2022, according to data released on Friday by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).

INS data indicate an increase in the turnover of market services in December 2023 by 13.5% compared to the same month of the previous year.

Evolution is generated by services provided in the field of legal activity, accounting, consulting, advertising and IT&C services. Transport also played a significant role in the growth of market services provided to companies.

December 2023 vs. November 2023: Regions with the highest service growth

In December 2023, the turnover of services provided to companies increased by 5.0% compared to November 2023. Computer services and information technologies rose in price the most – 12.8%. Other services provided to enterprises increased by 11.2%.

In addition, a moderate growth of 3.0% was observed in the field of communications.

Areas of decline in service turnover

In contrast, film and television production saw a significant decline of 9.7%. At the same time, a decrease of 6.0% was recorded in transport activity.

December 2023 compared to the corresponding month of the previous year

INS reports a 13.5% increase in turnover from market services provided mainly to businesses. This growth was driven by other business services, which grew by 18.1%, followed by computer services and information technology, which grew by 17.6%, and transportation activities, which grew by 17.6%, or 8 .9%.

In addition, services provided to companies in the field of cinematographic and radio-television production increased by 2.1% during the same period, and activities in the field of communication increased by 0.4%.
