Elon Musk files SpaceX to register company in Texas
February 15, 2024
Elon Musk’s private space company SpaceX has filed to change its place of incorporation from Delaware to the US state of Texas.
“SpaceX changed its state of incorporation from Delaware to Texas! If your company is still incorporated in Delaware, I recommend moving to another state as soon as possible,” Musk wrote.
It’s Musk’s latest move following a Delaware court ruling in January that blocked Musk’s historic compensation package at his electric car company Tesla.
The package was worth around $56 billion (52 billion euros) in options and shareholders considered the package excessive.
