The Romanian airline has announced that it has resumed flights to the United States of America from February 1, 2024, with fares starting at €608 round-trip including baggage and fees.

  • “In February, the price of tickets starts from 608 euros both ways with luggage and fees. The Tarom company has already released tickets for the route Bucharest – New York and Bucharest – Miami. Starting February 1, 2024, Tarom, in partnership with Air Europa and ITA Airways, operates daily round-trip flights between Bucharest’s Henri Coanda Airport (OTP) and the United States of America, New York (JFK) and Miami, respectively, from optimal stops in Madrid or Rome,” the state-owned company reports, News.ro reports.

The US is becoming a more affordable destination for the general public, both in terms of frequencies and prices and services included.

The Romanian national air transport company – Tarom was founded in 1954 and operates under the direction of the Ministry of Transport, being a member of the SkyTeam Alliance since June 25, 2010.

The national carrier of Romania operates a fleet of 18 aircraft and has a portfolio of 70 destinations served by its own aircraft or by its codeshare partners. Since 1993, Tarom has been a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
