From January 1, 2024 until now, a number of corrections have been made to the add-on Electronic account offered for free by MF/ANAF based on user feedback, the Ministry of Finance said in a press release.
Another important change, the institution says, is that since January 16, the system no longer allows entering duplicate invoices.
The next new step we are working on is the ability to send invoices on behalf of the supplier (auto-invoice).
“They never imagined that we would become the fourth country in the European Union to succeed in introducing this system, which, as we have said from the beginning, is vital to our fight against tax evasion. So far, there have been no periods when the system did not work,” said Marcel Bolosh.
What in the conditions in which it was on Wednesday the problem of “throwing away” part of taxpayerstherefore they could not use the SPV and today many taxpayers came across a message related to “maintenance” on anaf.ro.
“We do not rule out that difficulties may arise and aspects that need improvement may appear, so the approach is as constructive as possible; we are close to taxpayers, and no sanctions will be applied until April,” Bolosh said.
The minister also said: “we strive to be flexible and receptive to feedback, I think that’s the most important thing. In the end, we will definitely overcome all the difficulties and ensure that the electronic invoicing system is a reliable and adaptable solution to the ever-changing needs of the business environment.”
According to a press release, as reported last week by the Ministry of Finance, in order to determine possible improvements that would ensure the synergy of invoice platforms provided by companies that offer accounting services with the e-Invoice system, experts of the institution invited representatives of these companies to cooperate, to optimize technical solutions so that adaptation to the system is as smooth and efficient as possible.
In this sense, two online meetings were organized during this week, in which approximately 175 people participated.
During the discussions, emphasis was placed on monitoring the events that occur in the applications, any random errors that occur, and the resolution of messages received by the support team. Meetings in this format will be organized on a daily basis over the next period to assess any possible improvements that may contribute to the operational efficiency of e-invoicing.
Another approach to increase the effectiveness of interaction with end users is the organization of webinars on January 23 and 25, where they can discuss questions and receive answers from experts of the SFS/Financial Information Center.
