MG has officially arrived in Romania through importer Quantum Auto Max. British car brand MG, owned by China’s SAIC Group, is on a sales wave in all European countries where it is sold. MG aims to become an alternative to brands such as Dacia and Suzuki, and in some places also Volkswagen, Ford, Renault or Skoda.

Romania is the 23rd European market and the 9th country in Central and Eastern Europe where the MG brand is launched. Operations have also started in Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Macedonia and Greece.

The start of sales of MG cars in our country was recently formalized by the signing of a distribution contract between MG Motor Europe and the Romanian importer Quantum Auto Max. The company is controlled by Dan Citaru, the man who imports into Romania and KIA.
