In the first stage, from January 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024, economic entities, regardless of whether they are registered as VAT payers, are obliged to report in the national electronic invoice system RO e-Factura all invoices, issued in B2B relations and in relations with government institutions, except for those carried out in B2G relations, for which there is an obligation to use Ro eInvoice, starting from July 1, 2022.

In the second stage, starting from July 1, 2024, the issuers of electronic invoices are obliged to transfer them to the recipients using the national system of electronic invoices RO e-Factura.

Business entities must be registered in the Virtual Private Space (SPV) to use and access the RO electronic invoicing system.
