The Ministry of Finance, through the National Center for Financial Information (CNIF), will be responsible for the creation, development and administration of the Financial Hub by creating, administering and developing this infrastructure at the national level, which will be interconnected at the level of services with the future platform from Government Cloud.

For these reasons, the GEO project envisages that all components of the Financial Hub, classified in accordance with the law into the category of elements with a national security component, will be carried out by the Autonomous Administration “Rasir”, which will perform the role of an integration contractor, with the powers and duties defined in the content of the regulatory act , which is subject to approval.

The financial center’s cyber security will be ensured by the National Cyber ​​Information Center of the Romanian Intelligence Service in accordance with the powers defined by Law no. 58/2023 on cyber security and defense of Romania with the support of the National Center for Financial Information.
