Dacia introduced the third generation of Duster, a model that has sold more than 2.2 million units in 13 years. The car will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show, and the first buyers will arrive in the spring. The Duster 3, like the Jogger, will also have a hybrid variant.

Duster 3 is 4.34 meters long, and Dacia says that there will be more room for passengers. The design is also inspired by the Manifesto concept presented in 2022.
197,000 Dusters have been sold in Europe, and the total number of the new generation could exceed 200,000 in the coming years.
Duster is the second best selling model of the brand in Europe after Sandero. Prices for the Duster 3 have not been announced, but they will start at 20,000 euros, with the most expensive version coming in under 30,000 euros.
Duster 3 has a ground clearance adapted for off-road: 217 mm in the 4×4 version – the highest on the market (according to Dacia).
It will be present on the Duster 3 and the HYBRID 140 engine, which is based on proven technologies and recognized by the Renault group and consists of a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine with a capacity of 94 hp, two electric motors (an engine with a capacity of 49 hp .and high-voltage starter/alternator) and from an electrified automatic transmission. It has 4 stages designed for the heat engine and another 2 designed for the electric engine. This combined technology is possible due to the lack of clutch.
Dacia Duster 2024 has retained, in general, the same dimensions and proportions as the generation it replaces. The technical platform is new (CMF-B). The use of this platform provides a larger interior volume than the previous generation, for both passengers and luggage, without increasing the overall length. At the same time, road wear promises to be better.

For the first time in the Dacia line, the Duster TCe 130 engine will be present, which combines a new generation 3-cylinder 1.2-liter gasoline engine. The TCe 130 engine is available with a 6-speed manual transmission for the 4X2 and 4X4 versions.
