​The Administration of the Environment Fund (AFM) announces the opening of a new funding session under the Rabla Plus program, for individual applicants only, from 10:00 on November 23, 2023 to December 8, 2023, time: 23:59. The budget is 72 million lei, writes News.ro.

“Starting from Thursday, November 23, from 10:00 a.m., individuals can apply to verified manufacturers/dealers to complete registration formalities,” ASM reported.

AFM president Laurenciu Adrian Neculaescu said that unused amounts from previous sessions had been discovered.

“We decided to open a new financing session after very large requests from individuals. We also found unused amounts from the previous session and made them available in this session. This program contributes to the development of less polluting transport and the improvement of air quality in urban agglomerations. The amounts provided are intended to encourage people to buy new cars with environmentally friendly technologies that offer a more ecological, economic and convenient alternative to transport, especially in the context of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and dependence on fossil fuels,” said Laurenciu Adrian Neculaescu. .

The budget allocated for the program is 72,655,000 lei.

As part of the Rabla Plus program, the applicant receives an eco-ticket when purchasing a new vehicle in exchange for returning at least one used vehicle for disposal.

No more than two used cars can be disposed of.

The amount of financing is:

  • 51,000 lei for a new fully electric car or a new car with a hydrogen fuel cell and 26,000 lei for a new hybrid electric car, except for a motorcycle that generates a maximum of 80 g CO2/km in the WLTP system, in exchange for a used car;
  • 54,000 lei for a new fully electric car or a new car with hydrogen fuel cells and 29,000 lei for a hybrid electric car that generates a maximum of 80 g CO2/km in the WLTP system, for the purchase of a new vehicle in exchange for the disposal of two used vehicles;
  • for each used vehicle older than 15 years and/or with a pollution standard of Euro 3 or lower, an eco-bonus of 1,500 lei is added.

An eco-ticket is issued when purchasing an electric car, the value of which does not exceed 75,000 euros including VAT.

“The eco-ticket for the purchase of an electric motorcycle is 26,000 lei, to which you can add an eco-bonus of 1,500 lei for scrapping a used vehicle that is at least 15 years old from the date of manufacture and/or has a Euro pollution standard of 3 or lower,” – writes AFM.
