A new session of the “Casa Verde Fotovoltaice” program, with which we will test potential installers, will begin on Wednesday, and the company that sued the Environmental Fund Administration (AFM) has promised to drop the Lawsuit if it confirmed as an authorized plumber, Environment Minister Mircea Fecet announced on Monday at a press conference.
- “There are 90,000 beneficiaries, 90,000 families waiting for the Casa Verde Photovoltaic program, which is blocked today by a court decision, namely the Court of Appeal of Oradea, which suspended the program a few weeks ago.
- I would like to draw the public’s attention to the fact that a few days ago I invited representatives of the company that sued ASM to the central office of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Water and Forests.
- I have also invited the representatives of the Environmental Fund Administration in an attempt to find the possibility of mediation in this conflict between a private person and the Romanian state, understanding that the court deadlines may well exceed the deadline we estimate, and with the hope that we will be able to unblock this situation.
- I would like to announce that we have reached an agreement between the parties in that we will open a new session on Wednesday this week at 10:00 a.m. in which we will screen potential installers.
- Of course, installers who didn’t try to sign up the first time can sign up, as well as installers who were denied, as was the case with this company.
- I have received a promise from the company that as the new session opens and as it is confirmed as an authorized installer by the Ministry of the Environment, it will withdraw from the process that we have, will make a refusal request in court, from which point we can hope that that the wait for 90,000 families will be much shorter.” said the Minister of Ecology, quotes Agerpres.
On September 26, 2023, the Administration of the Environment Fund announced the suspension of the “Photoelectric Green House” program as a result of the decision of the Court of Appeal of the city of Oradea, which accepted the request of one of the installers, who were not confirmed by the institution.
The budget allocated for this year’s session of the “Casa Verde Photovoltaic” program, for which 515 installers were tested, is almost two billion lei, of which more than 1.7 billion lei is allocated to individuals and 17.5 million lei to religious institutions.
Individual registration was open from 19 May 2023 to 23 June 2023 via the IT application on the AFM website, and cult units could register for the program from 27 to 29 June 2023.
Financing is provided in the amount of a maximum of 20,000 lei, subject to the beneficiary’s own contribution of 2,000 lei. The amount financed by AFM is deducted by the verified installer from the total invoice value, and the difference to the total invoice value is covered by the beneficiary from its own financial sources.
