Meta says the Meta AI conversational assistant will be found in many forms across WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram, and is based on broad language models and a partnership with the Bing search engine.

The company launched 28 chatbots with the latest version of artificial intelligence that will talk like celebrities (such as Snoop Dogg, Tom Brady, Kendall Jenner, Paris Hilton and Naomi Osaka).

Mark Zuckerberg says you can talk to these chatbots, and from 2024 some of them will also have a voice, so conversations won’t just be written.

Facebook has been working on AI applications for years, but has yet to release generative AI chatbots, and Zuckerberg has decided in the fall of 2021 to direct the company to create a virtual universe called Metavers.

Zuckerberg had to “change the game” after the success of ChatGPT forced all major companies to accelerate the release of conversational bots.

It is not clear whether Meta can make money from these chatbots, but it has several advantages: a huge audience (over three billion people use the apps in total) and a very good financial position).
