​Today, software company Fortech, a subsidiary owned by GlobalLogic since February 2023 and part of the Japanese conglomerate Hitachi, announced today that it has signed an agreement to acquire the business of Eminus Software. The deal should be completed in the next period. The acquisition strengthens the position of Fortech – a GlobalLogic company on the Romanian market, supporting its development in the vector of growth of technical competence in Central and Eastern Europe within the framework of GlobalLogic.

Eminus Software is a .NET, Angular, React, and Azure service provider with experience in next-generation technologies, cloud migration projects, and digital transformation. Founded in 2012, Eminus has consistently demonstrated expertise in data warehousing and analytics. Focusing on Microsoft technologies, especially .NET Core and Azure, Eminus Software positions itself as a valuable partner in its customers’ efforts to move their technologies to the cloud. The headquarters of the company is located in Bucharest.

In addition to deepening technical expertise, the acquisition plan also aligns with Fortech, a GlobalLogic company’s strategy to expand and consolidate its presence in Bucharest, in addition to offices in Cluj, Iasi, Oradea and Brasov.

The acquisition of Eminus Software is currently subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed in the coming months.
