Other models that performed very well are the Volkswagen T-Roc, Toyota Yaris Cross, Volkswagen Tiguan, Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sportage, Peugeot 3008, Peugeot 2008, Renault Captur, Mercedes-Benz GLC or Volvo XC40.

Small SUVs grew by 22% to over a million units, with the Duster in third place.

SUVs have also grown because the number of models increases every year and car manufacturers prefer this body type not only because it is popular with the public, but also because SUVs are more expensive and the profit margin per car is higher.

The overall market of new cars in Europe grew by 17%, all segments were in the red, and mini cars grew the least.
