
Economic operators on the Black Sea coast were checked by inspectors of the Main Fiscal Directorate for Combating Fraud (ANAF), the institution reports on its Facebook page.
“In the period from July 17 to 23, 86 inspectors of the Main Tax Department for the fight against fraud carried out special control measures to fight against fraud on the Black Sea coast, mainly aimed at checking compliance with the provisions of the reissued GEO 28/1999 regarding the provision and use by business entities of electronic fiscal marking machines,” the message reads.
After these measures, 465 economic entities were inspected and illegal sanctions in the amount of 2,361,826 lei (fines and confiscations) were applied.
According to the quoted source, operational actions will continue in the next period and will be aimed at recording income from the sale of food products, the availability of purchase documents for the products put up for sale, as well as the availability of forms of employment of personnel discovered during the control.
