For the first time, the auction house A10 by Artmark is dedicating an auction exclusively to urban pop culture. “Toy. Contemporary Collectibles” brings together the most valuable pairs of sneakers in Romania, created as a result of rare collaborations between famous sports shoe brands, legendary personalities or well-known brands in the fashion industry, as well as video games, figurines inspired by comics or unique skateboards. In recent years, the passion for sneakers has grown significantly all over the world, but also in Romania, becoming not only a sports shoe, but a phenomenon of urban culture. As such, the July 11th event, hosted by A10 by Artmark, is becoming a landmark in the local streetwear industry and a place where collectors and enthusiasts can access rare and exclusive pairs of sneakers.

The most expensive pair has a starting price of 10,000 euros and is the result of a collaboration between Keith Hufnagel and Nike. The “HUF x Nike Dunk Low, Unique Piece: #KeithForever” is a one-of-a-kind pair in the world, cast in resin and specially designed with HUF in mind, while retaining details that relate to the iconic skater’s personality.

The result of a collaboration between the world of urban fashion and the world of luxury is a pair of Louis Vuitton Nike Air Force 1 Low by Virgil Abloh White Royal sneakers. With a starting price of €5,000, the copy is made of premium leather, worn by legends of global urban culture such as LeBron James and Eminem, and is the grail for any collector.

Another first for the auction is a pair of Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG sneakers featuring the holographic signature of artist Celli. The auction model with a starting price of 250 euros is one of the last discounts of the legendary Air Jordan 1. The funds collected after the auction will be donated to the Romanian Red Cross campaign in support of the #totilascoală Campaign, Selly’s initiative to prevent school dropouts.

A pair of sneakers with an unconventional, very attractive look that evokes technology, was created in collaboration between Nike and Fear of God through designer Jerry Lorenzo. The pair up for auction on July 11, the Nike Air Fear of God 1 String Off-Noir Friends & Family, has a starting price of €2,500 and was created in a limited edition of just 100 units, usually distributed among a circle of relatives or those involved in the project .

The Jordan 1 Retro High Union Los Angeles Black Toe is one of the models that Michael Jordan wore most often in his NBA career. The model, put up for auction at a starting price of 1,500 euros, was created in collaboration with the Los Angeles branch of the Union brand and perfectly reinterprets the classic line. The original Black Toe model became important and turned the sneaker silhouette into a modern iconography.

The triple collaboration between Nike, Japanese brand Fragment Design and American rapper Travis Scott has released a pair of Nike Air Jordan x Travis Scott Fragment Design 1 Low sneakers, the starting price of which at the auction was 2,000 euros. Paired signed Fragments usually become the object of collections, coming out of very limited editions. Only 4,800 pairs can be found in this model, with the vast majority reserved only for the most famous streetwear stores in the world. Celebrities who have been spotted wearing this pair include former NBA MVP Kevin Durant.

During the event “Toyz. Contemporary Collectibles’ will also be auctioning two Harley Davidson motorcycles. Harley VL model, made in 1930-1936, that is, almost 100 years ago! – has a starting price of €15,000, while the 1981 Harley XLH 1000 is €8,000. Also making a special appearance is the 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera, a classic Porsche gem. This is the first Porsche 911 Turbo with a 3.3-liter engine with a capacity of 286 hp, the starting price of which is 50,000 euros. The car had three owners in the USA and was brought to Romania in 2017, in good working condition.

“Toy. Contemporary Collecting” will take place next week, Tuesday, July 11, at 12:00 p.m. The auction will be held exclusively online, at artmark.ro, in the new Timed Online Auction format. Pairs of sneakers and collectibles – from figurines inspired by comic book superheroes, from sports memorabilia to old games and game collectibles, from comics to jewelry inspired by the beloved Walt Disney universe, are on display at the Cesianu-Rakovice Palace, which can be admired from Monday. on Sunday from 10:00 to 20:00.
