Banning TikTok, for example, is fine if you ask me, says the head of CyberInt at SRI, General Anton Rog.
“All the data there, because it was released based on the technical analysis I provided, goes to some servers in China. In addition, the Chinese can activate the microphone, camera and so on,” he said.
According to him, through TikTok, the Chinese can take images, audio and whatever they want from there.
We remind you that in May, the National Directorate of Cyber Security (DNSC) gave recommendations to ban the download, installation and use of the TikTok software application in the official computer systems of authorities and state institutions in Romania.
The DNSC says it has identified “a number of unacceptable cyber security risks caused by the download, installation or use of the TikTok software and the TikTok social network service in the service IT systems of Romanian public authorities and institutions.”
