A few years ago this would have seemed like a utopia, but it is a reality. Yanina they managed to attract a powerful ecosystem of technology and consulting companieswho are looking for qualified personnel. The latest “arrival” in the area includes PwC Greece, which launched its new digital hub in a city of about 65,000 the day before Thursday. This is the consulting firm’s second satellite office in Greece after the Technology and Innovation Center in Patras, with PwC beginning to establish additional satellite offices in Greece, including the PwC Sustainability Center in Rhodes.

Ioannina has an ecosystem of innovative companies that are looking for qualified personnel.

The bet on attracting talent has pushed companies to the fringes, where not only are there better living conditions compared to major urban centers like Athens, but the market is more effectively interconnected with academic institutions. “Yannina is turning into an ecosystem of opportunities for large companies launching development plans and looking for employees,” notes on “K” President of the Science and Technology Park (ETEPI) of Epirus Alcibiades Pipetis. ETEPI employs about 30 Greek and foreign companies developing innovative applications and products.
