Sector 2 Mayor Radu Mihaju says some drivers will be fined heavily if they block the local administration’s efforts to clean the streets.

“Unfortunately, some people do not understand a kind word. I alerted each car multiple times. We notified the association of home owners along the route. We painted a demarcation lane this morning,” says Radu Mihaju, who posts a video showing a car parked in the first lane, obstructing crews cleaning Mihai Brava Boulevard.

“Many people understood and moved their cars, making room for washing the roadside. Unfortunately, there are still drivers for whom a kind word is not enough. I don’t particularly want it, but everyone who prevented Mihai Brava from being washed today will be fined heavily,” says Mihayu.

“Let it be clear to everyone that we are not joking, we are not giving up. We will do whatever it takes to clean up this sector,” says the mayor of Sector 2.
