USB-C ports and other unofficial information about the iPhone 15 series seem to be confirmed by prototypes discovered and analyzed by the American publication, News.ro reports.

MacRumors, a publication specializing in all things Apple, has obtained prototypes of the four models that will make up the iPhone 15 series of smartphones.

The prototypes, while not functional, demonstrate the approach Apple has taken in the case of this series for the appearance of the phones it will release this year.

The most important thing that these prototypes managed to confirm is the presence of a USB-C port. It will be present on all four models of the series.

It looks like there will be some differences regarding the USB-C implementation. More expensive models will benefit from a faster data connection, but importantly, all versions will charge via the ubiquitous USB-C standard.

Otherwise, apart from the more pronounced rounding of the edges, the design differences between the iPhone 15 and last year’s series are very small, suggesting that the new series will be a minor update.

As every year, Apple will introduce its new iPhones in September. By the time next week’s WWDC takes place, the American company should unveil its first mixed reality headset.
