“There is not a single courier company in Romania that does not deliver through Romanian Post, and perhaps the biggest e-commerce companies in Romania have grown thanks to Romanian Post. “This is what we are doing with eBay,” the head of the Post Office said on Tuesday during the presentation of the program for small and medium-sized businesses, developed together with the American online giant, which has 133 million active buyers and a presence in 190 markets.

All courier companies do not have 100% nationwide coverage and also deliver via Romanian Post. This is a lesser known thing.
• Perhaps the biggest e-commerce companies in Romania have grown thanks to Romanian Post. (..) This is what we do with eBay. They came to Romania, we provide them with our infrastructure, they will grow and we have no doubt that they will become one of the main e-commerce platforms in Romania.
• Let’s wait another 1-2 years, and you will see that we know what we are talking about. eBay will not only be a foreign e-commerce platform, you will find that it will also have an important weight for domestic trade. And we extend the same invitation to other e-commerce platforms,” ​​Valentyn Štefan, CEO of the Post Office, said on Tuesday.

eBay together with Posta launched on Tuesday the e-export nation platform, which aims to support the growth of online product exports by Romanian companies.

Small and medium-sized enterprises can register for this program on the website https://export.ebay.com/ro/e-export/ and benefit from, among other things, free listing on eBay for the first 3 months, personalized training and discount rates.

The cost of delivery starts from 5 euros for small packages and from 10 euros for parcels.
