
With the 24th International Hospitality Investment Forum (IHIF) Lifetime Achievement Award, Mr. Stavros Andreadis and Andreas Andreadis in the context of this year’s event, which took place yesterday, Wednesday, 17 May 2023, in Berlin.
As highlighted in the related announcement, this award is in recognition of their pioneering work in developing and promoting the Sani/Ikos Group in Greece and the Mediterranean, as well as their significant contribution to the restoration of luxury hospitality as a profitable investment idea that exemplifies the history of Greek tourism, but also on international level.
The iconic IHIF Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes leaders who have revolutionized the hospitality industry and left a legacy for generations to come. Previous winners have included industry celebrities such as David Kong, former CEO of Best Western Hotels & Resorts, Saul Kerzner, founder and former chairman of Kerzner International Holdings Limited, Bill Marriott, chairman emeritus of Marriott International, and Isadore Sharp, founder and chairman of Four Seasons .
This year, the awards took place during a forum with the theme “Fortune Favors the Bold”, which was attended by over 2,000 outstanding hospitality industry professionals, owners and investors. The International Hospitality Investment Forum (IHIF) is a member of the Questex Hospitality Group, a benchmark and meeting place for leaders in the hospitality industry from around the world.

Stavros Andreadis played an active role in the collective bodies of the hospitality and tourism sector while he was President of SETE – Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises – Social Partner – for eight consecutive years (2001-2008). In 2013 Ernst & Young named him “Greek Pioneer Businessman of the Year”. Dr. Andreas Andreadis was Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Hotel Association and between 2011 and 2017, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SETE, as well as the initiator of Marketing Greece and INSETE, two non-profit organizations to officially promote the Greek tourism industry in cooperation with public and private organizations.
