Renault and Hyundai found more than 3,000 customers each, and Skoda and Toyota completed the top 5. Only one brand in the top 10 decreased: Hyundai, -2%.
If the first five car sales were occupied by Dacia models, the range 6-10 was “awarded” by Clio and Megane from Renault, Skoda Octavia, Hyundai Tucson and Ford Kuga. The top 10 models together accounted for more than 40% of the total market.
The SUV segment remains the market leader with a 40.7% share, while the C-Class has 30.5%. Class A cars had less than 6%.
Fully electric cars currently account for 8.7% of the market, which translates to more than 2,900 units in four months, of which 1,865 are Dacia Spring, 534 Tesla and 442 Volkswagen.
The segment grew 37% in four months, but only 6% in April. Renault tripled its sales compared to 2022, the Toyota brand also entered the top 10.
