​Almost 90% of entrepreneurs present at the Romanian Business Leaders Summit (RBLS), which took place on Wednesday and Thursday in the capital, say that their business will grow this year, and for a third of them even by more than 20%. In the mirror, of course, there are expectations of an increase in the number of employees, despite the labor crisis, as well as an increase in wages.

300 entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs and teachers attended the Romanian Business Leaders Summit, with the theme “The Future of Meaningful Business”, and the news is mildly optimistic.

The summit discussed important topics for business and entrepreneurs: sustainable development, innovation, Romanian capital, internationalization, as well as education and future prospects in a geopolitical and macroeconomic context.

The president of the Chamber of Deputies, Marcel Čolaku, also took part in the summit. In a dialogue with Dragos Petrescu, President of City Grill Group, he noted that infrastructure projects and large construction sites opened in recent years have caused the current economic growth, turning what was not done in the last 30 years into an economic advantage in the present. He also emphasized the need to utilize the funds of the PNRR program and gave assurances about unblocking the situation with special pensions. He assured entrepreneurs that while he supports the introduction of a progressive quota, there will be no changes to the single quota in 2023 and 2024. In addition, he promised to maintain an open and permanent channel of dialogue with the Romanian business environment.

In addition to the meaningful and networking sessions, there was also a MERITO Gala where 12 valued teachers from across the country, from rural areas, disadvantaged communities or urban schools, with outstanding performances who are part of the eighth generation, were in attendance. awarding of laureates.
