World Economic Forum: Every fourth profession will “change” in the coming years

According to the survey of employers released today World Economic Forum (WEF), an organization known for its annual forum in Davos, Switzerland.

According to the same source, there will be around 69 million jobs created and 83 million lost by 2027, resulting in a net 2% reduction in current employment, according to a Future of Jobs report.

The survey is based on data from approximately 800 companies employing more than 11 million people and uses data from 673 million jobs.

According to the study’s summary, technology and digitalization are driving both job creation and job destruction.

“Advances in the use of technology and increased digitalization will cause significant reshuffling in the labor market,” the report says.

Roles that can be automated, such as bank clerks and other clerical workers, will be phased out faster, while the demand for AI and cybersecurity experts is expected to rise significantly, according to the same source.
