Tenders for the modernization of Busten, Ploiesti-West and Videle railway stations have been launched for a total amount of 38 million lei. The pedestrian tunnel will be repaired in Bushten, and the buildings at all three stations will also be repaired. Dozens of large railway stations in Romania are in dire need of repair.
The Ploiești Vest and Bușteni stations are located on highway 300 and on the route followed by most of the trains of the CFR network: Bucharest – Brasov.
Videle can be found on Highway 100 Bucharest – Craiova – Timisoara and the town is a railway hub with four daily trains in each direction to Giurgiu.
The public tenders launched by the Regional Branch of CF Bucharest (SRCF Bucharest) are aimed at the development of technical projects and the implementation of works for the modernization of 3 railway stations Videle, Ploiesti-West and Busten.

→ modernization of platforms and canopies
→ extension/raising of platforms (Bușteni and Videle stations)
→ reconstruction of the pedestrian tunnel (Bushten station)
→ installation of protective fences
→ modernization of telecommunications equipment, traffic safety
→ Videle arrangement of the parking lot of the station
The source of funding for the modernization of the 3 railway stations will be non-refundable external funds through the Transport Program and the state budget, the duration of the development of the technical project and the execution of the works will be 24 months for each contract.
