- In 2022, the employment rate of the population of working age (15-64 years) was 63.1%, having increased by 1.2 percentage points compared to the previous year. As in previous years, the employment rate was higher for men (71.5% versus 54.4% for women). In terms of settlements, the occupancy rate was higher in urban areas (68.6% versus 56.3% in rural areas).
- The employment rate of young people (15-24 years old) was 19.7%, of the elderly (55-64 years old) – 46.7%.
