The tender for the construction of the new Piraeus vessels was completed a few weeks ago after another bidder filed unsuccessful objections to the results of the tender. This is the Israeli interests company Golden Horizon, which proposed the Kerani building on Piraeus Street to house the courts.

Dimand’s proposal concerns the property of “Daskalaki”. This is a property with an area of ​​17,000 sq.m. with an existing building of 4400 sq.m, which was purchased by the Papastratos tobacco industry. Here it is possible to build an office building with an area of ​​up to 36,264 sq.m., which exceeds the needs of the Piraeus courts. Under the terms of the tender, Dimand undertakes to develop and sell an office building with a total area of ​​30,000 square meters in the Ministry of Justice for an amount of 80.9 million euros. This solves the chronic housing problem of the Piraeus courthouse, as this case dates back to the early 2000s.

Dimand’s other important deal, the sale of an office building in Marousi to Eurobank, is also the largest by value in the office real estate market. The complex under construction includes two twin-type bioclimatic office buildings with a total superstructure area of ​​11,000 sq.m, i.e. 5 500 sq.m. every. The total area of ​​the property, including basements, is 24,500 sq.m. PwC plans to consolidate the services that are currently housed in three different buildings. The property is leased for a period of 10 years with the right to extend for another 10 years. Construction began last year and is expected to be completed in the first half of 2024.

At the same time, three more Dimand investments with a total estimated amount of 280 million euros are at the start during this period. These are two redevelopment projects of former industrial sites, namely “Athen Paper” in Votanikos and “Valkan Export” in Thessaloniki, as well as the reconstruction and operational modernization of the iconic complex “Mignon” in the center of Athens. In fact, in the case of Mignon, work has already begun, foreseeing the mixed use of living quarters, shops and offices.
