The platform was opened to fill out an application for its payment child benefit A21 CUSTODY.

The platform will remain open and accept new applications until mid-May. It will then be temporarily closed until May 31 to process applications and pay for the second half of 2023.

Child benefit recipients can apply IDIC platform or through it OPEKA website using the recipient’s personal Taxisnet passwords.

The amount due will be calculated based on the dependent children claimed on the 2023 A21 application and the total household income that the beneficiaries had in tax year 2021. After filing their income tax return for the current year, they will be taken into account when calculating the amount of income due for the 2022 tax year.

How to fill out an application

Filing E1 and application A21. The allowance is calculated based on dependent children reported in A21 for 2023 and according to the last cleared tax return.
However, in order for beneficiaries to know the correct amount of their benefit for 2023 and to avoid excessive accumulation of amounts paid, it is recommended to file an E1 income tax return for the current year (2022 income).

The portion of child support that will be paid after that year’s E1 filing deadline will only include those claimants who filed that year’s tax return.

Entrance. Sign in to the app with your TaxisNet credentials by clicking on the link that follows the instructions.

When you log in, you will be asked to confirm the AMKA and consent to the processing of the required data, i.e. yours, your spouse or cohabiting partner and your protected children.

Agreement. After logging in, a form will appear where you will need to select your current marital status. Married and separated persons must enter their spouse’s TIN and AMCA.

Read carefully the text regarding child support consent and click Consent (to start completing and submitting the child support application, A21).

Filling out an application. Your Child Benefit application will contain pre-filled personal information and family composition.

Some fields of the application must be completed by you, such as identification information, address and contact information, and the IBAN that you are a beneficiary or co-owner of for benefits.

Family composition. The child support application includes a table with the composition of your household. Some participants may be required to complete additional information, such as student information. pressing [Αλλαγή Στοιχείων] you will be redirected to the member details form for which you must enter and enter additional details.

If any of the children should not participate in the application, you must remove the child. Also, if your family member is not included in the pre-populated family composition, you will need to add a child.

The same list has relevant information next to the name of the person who may need to agree to the benefit. His consent requires logging into the app with his TaxisNet credentials.

Notes and documentation. When saving or submitting an application, the application may display highlights at the bottom of the form with important information related to the application.

You may be asked to attach supporting documents relating to you or the protected member. Certain supporting documents are required to apply for child support.

Registration and submission. At the bottom of the app, you can click [Αποθήκευση] V [Υποβολή]. When you save an entry, it is temporarily logged into the system, and you can return later one or more times to complete additional participant details or attach any supporting documents that may be required.

After the final submission of the application, it will not be possible to change it. Verification of the attached supporting documents is carried out by OPECA only after the final submission of the application. Please note that an incomplete application will not be considered submitted.

Cancellation of the application. If, after submitting your application, you find that there is an error in it, you can cancel it by clicking [Οι Αιτήσεις Μου] / [Προβολή] / [Ακύρωση Αίτησης] and then start a new declaration responsible for the application (A21) for child benefit. When it is completed, it must be submitted definitively.
