
Lamb prices start at 9.69 euros/kg. “Easter Basket” based on new lower prices announced supermarket chains.
This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Development and Investments.
In a Twitter post, Minister for Development and Investment Adonis Georgiadis commented: “From today, new lower prices in the Home Basket across all networks. Competition works in favor of consumers, no matter how some may shout. I am proud that thanks to our policies, we have finally achieved lower prices than in 2019!”
As the ad notes:
- the largest decrease in today’s current price compared to the starting price of last Wednesday, April 5, is 96 cents / kg,
- in 11 out of 13 supermarket chains participating in the Easter Basket campaign, lamb costs up to 9.99 euros/kg,
- at the same time, in all networks, the price of a goat does not exceed 10.99 euros / kg.
