The process of resurrecting old preferential arrangements for 120 payments, as well as 72 payments of the COVID period for debts to social security funds. At the same time, from Monday, April 10, the electronic service will be activated under the new setting 72 doses for debts incurred between September 2021 and December 2022.
In particular, the provision for 120 payments has been restored, as well as 72 payments for the COVID period, and debtors can apply on the EFKA website (https://www.efka.gov.gr). The rebirth applies to those who, before February 1, 2023, have lost the favorable conditions of Law 4611/2019 (up to 120 doses) and Law 4756/2020 (COVID, up to 72 doses). Attention: Debtors who have not previously joined these agreements cannot join now. To revive the agreements, it is necessary to submit a corresponding request to the competent service of the KEAO by July 31, 2023. To activate them, you also need to pay an amount corresponding to two monthly payments of the lost arrangement by the last business day of the application month. This amount covers the two oldest payments. The remaining payments due are transferred with interest at the end of the settlement. Of course, there is one more condition for the renewal of the above arrangements, since in the case of new debts that were not included in a specific agreement, it must be repaid or subject to a fixed agreement up to 24 in installments or on a new order of 72 installments, depending on the time period . In this case, payment by installments for each adjustment or recovery is carried out using a separate electronic payment code (EP), which will be communicated to the debtor through the application that submitted the request.
With regard to the new scheme of up to 72 payments, we are talking about debts for the period from September 2021 to December 2022 with a minimum monthly payment of 30 euros. Submission of the relevant request must be made to the online services of the KEAO before July 31, 2023. And in this case, if there is an overdue debt, they must be issued an indefinite installment plan until July 24 to July 31, 2023. Applications will begin on Monday, April 10, also through the EFKA website.
