Paid today child benefit beneficiaries who were not paid on 31 March due to tax arrears from previous years.
The beneficiaries will have the relevant personalized information through the online child support application.
The amount due for each case will be calculated based on the dependent children to be declared in A21 2023 and the citizens’ total household income in tax year 2022.
However, prior to filing a 2023 income tax return, income for the 2021 tax year will be taken into account to calculate the amount due.
The A21 e-filing platform allows extensive electronic cross-checking with available databases of other organizations and services to verify the accuracy and correctness of the submitted data and information at the application stage.
As a reminder, in order to receive benefits, the application must be finalized and approved. Please note that a temporarily saved application is considered not submitted and will not be taken into account.
Finally, the system for new applications for child benefits is expected to open in April.
