AMK seeks to further protect the bank’s capital in order to develop it and expand its shareholder base. The plan calls for a net worth of €380m after completion of the increase, with a percentage to be widely dispersed estimated at 25%.

According to Optima Bank, “AMK’s decision is a turning point for its course and at the same time a starting point for the next day, as it is the first bank to cross the threshold of the Athens Stock Exchange after 17 years. , having proved in practice its loyalty with its dynamics, a step that is a vote of confidence in the Greek economy and its prospects.”

Today, the bank has a nationwide network of 27 branches, constantly investing in cutting-edge technology to offer the best service to its customers.” Profit after tax in 2022 exceeded 30 million euros, compared to 16.7 million euros in 2021. Its network of stores is developing on the basis of consulting support for enterprises that form the core of the financial base, and individuals that form the core of the deposit base.

In his 3.5 years of operation, he has raised more than 2.3 billion euros in deposits and has also supported Greek entrepreneurship through investment financing of more than 1.8 billion euros. In 2023, the bank announced that it intends to further strengthen entrepreneurship in the Greek market by providing new loans for investment projects worth more than 1.6 billion euros. At the same time, with 84 new hires in 2022, it has reached 450 executives.
